N’Djamena: Morocco and Chad Examine Ways To Develop Bilateral Relations
N’Djamena – Head of Government Saad Dine El Otmani met, on Tuesday in N’Djamena, with Minister of State, Minister-Secretary General to the Presidency of the Republic of Chad, Kalzeubé Payimi Deubet on means to develop Moroccan-Chadian relations, particularly in the fields of culture, air transport and investment.
On this occasion, El Otmani expressed Morocco’s appreciation for the Chadian positions in favor of the national cause, welcoming the shared viewpoints of the two countries within the African Union.
For his part, the Chadian minister welcomed Morocco’s constant support for the countries of the Sahel region, thanking the Kingdom for its active participation in the summit of heads of state of the G5 Sahel, held in N’Djamena.
At the opening of this summit, El Otmani, representing HM King Mohammed VI, had underlined that the Kingdom of Morocco, drawing on its historical links with the countries of the Sahel and faithful to its mission as a committed actor to security and stability in Africa, renews its solidarity-based commitment to the five countries of the Sahel and the rest of the countries of the region, with the objective of jointly facing the dangers which threaten their future and that of the entire region.
