Madrid: Morocco, Spain Discuss Migration Management
Madrid – Morocco’s ambassador to Spain, Karima Benyaich, held, Wednesday in Madrid, a meeting with the new Spanish Secretary of State for Migration, Jesus Javier Perea, focusing on migration management between the two countries.
During this meeting, Benyaich reaffirmed the continued willingness and full readiness of Morocco to consolidate and further deepen migration cooperation with Spain in all its aspects, said a statement by the Moroccan Embassy in Madrid.
The two officials reviewed various issues of common interest such as circular migration, in its various components and the migration issue in its global aspect.
Regarding circular migration, Benyaich stressed the importance of expanding it to other sectors such as health and the hotel industry.
During this meeting, the Moroccan diplomat discussed with the Spanish official the means to offer a better administrative support to Moroccan students in Spain.
For his part, Jesus Javier Perea expressed his department’s total willingness to work further to strengthen cooperation with Morocco and maintain permanent contact with the Moroccan authorities.
