FM Receives his Burundian Counterpart Carrying Message to HM the king
Rabat – Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, received, Thursday in Rabat, Burundian minister of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation, Albert Shingiro, who was carrying a message from President of the Republic of Burundi, Evariste Ndayishimiye to His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
This message “is part of the dialogue between the two brotherly heads of State, but also part of the new dynamics of bilateral relations between the two countries,” said Bourita at a joint press briefing with his Burundian counterpart.
For his part, Shingiro conveyed to Bourita Ndayishimiye’s congratulations to HM the King for his strategy on South-South and triangular policy as well as his African policy.
The visit of the Burundian FM to Morocco was also an opportunity for the Kingdom and the Republic of Burundi to sign a roadmap of cooperation between the two countries for the period 2021-2024.
