FM Receives FIFA President
Rabat – Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, received, Wednesday in Rabat, president of the International Football Federation (FIFA), Gianni Infantino, currently on a two-day working visit to Morocco.
This meeting was marked in particular by the presence of president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), Fouzi Lekjaa.
Upon his arrival earlier in the day at the Rabat-Sale airport, Infantino told the press that several projects and programs for soccer development will be discussed during this visit, particularly relating to youth and women’s soccer, among others.
This visit is part of the consolidation of the strong relationship between FIFA and FRMF officials. It also aims to develop cooperation between the two bodies in the promotion of national and continental soccer.
